Ketchikan

Matt and I recently went to Ketchikan, Alaska to visit our friends Ken, Missy, and their adorable little girl, Elise. They live there seasonally so that Ken can work as a tour bus driver for the Norweigan cruise line, though they're thinking of making it a permanent move (sniffle, sniffle). We stayed with them while we were there, and, because of Ken's job, we were able to get on a lot of tours that we would not have been able to afford otherwise. We went on mountain go-karts, on a float plane to the Misty Fiords, fishing, camping, to Totem Bight, and to a lumberjack show. Of course it was a blast and, as is true with every vacation, it was hard to come home. It definately rates high on the 'must see' list.
