we haven't been doing much other than hanging around the house.

i'm one of "those" moms who doesn't take her newborn out for at least 6-ish weeks.

whatever.

we're all going stir crazy.

well, except for skylar and matt who have been have a BLAST on daily excursions.

i'm jealous.

not that i would leave the house anyways.

come one.

that would require showering.

doing my hair.

having clothes that fit.

so home i'll stay.

thank you hgtv and oreos.

oh, and sadie makes it nice, too.

what a bunch of cheesers.

hanging out with is girls.

shhhhh. she's butterfly hunting.

4th of july.

except i don't pick of each sprinkle individually before eating the doughnut.

matt's back on call so now life gets real.

no more 'extra help' during the day.

my "baby" turns 2

right after we got out of the hospital we got ready for skylar's 2nd birthday.  

we had a mellow party at our house and skylar was totally SPOILED.

 we got skylar an owl backpack, doctor kit, and sand & water table.

'baby sissy,' as skylar calls her, got her a beauty kit.

 making her birthday cupcakes.

 i'm pretty sure she licked the frosting off of at least 3 cupcakes...

 more presents...

the next day we went up to my parents house to use the sprinkler she got.

unfortunately we forgot the sprinkler at home.  go figure.

but, skylar and genet had a blast swimming and swinging.

 she's turning in to quite the cheeser.

i can't believe i'm the luckiest woman in the world

to have these kids in my life.
