working on chubbing up.
love it when she throws her arms up.
loves taking showers...or, as she calls them: shammers.
matt and his fire possy.
flying her kite with dad
matt took skylar on a date to the aquarium
on one of his days off.
kissing the penguin.
enjoying some ice cream after the aquarium.
[they went to a hawaiian themed place--hence
the gigantic flower in her hair]
bein' a goof.
i love this girl.
we're starting to sort of maybe
think about possibly trying to potty train
skylar. she's gone a few times on the potty.
mostly she just announces when she's
peeing/poopingin her diaper. a day late and a
dollar short, i guess.
he LOVES these girls.
i have definitely and indefinitely been demoted.
can't say that i blame him.
and then i lost our camera. with about a months worth
of pictures on it. damn.
life is good. matt's crazy busy with fires/projects and we don't see him nearly as much as we'd like. it's hard to have our family separated so much--don't know how my parents did it for so long. the sacrifices you make for you family, i guess.
skylar is great. she's as busy and talkative and independent and sassy as ever. she loves playing outside and swimming. if only i dared to squeeze my fat ass into a swimming suit we could really take advantage of our pool.
sadie is great. she's chunking up, which i love. she's getting to be a better sleeper and is such a mellow kid. she has made my life.
i'm good, too. in case anyone cares. i'm pretty much doing the mom thing. trying to figure out how to get things done with two kids. or at least that's what i blame the messiness on.
we've been spending a lot of time in park city when matt's gone. it's been nice. i didn't realize how lonely i would get even with two kids at home. my parents have been champs to put up with us and the chaos that we bring. i'm sure they're counting down the days until the fire season is over. so am i.
and that's it.
