More Pictures of the Babe
Here are some more pictures of baby Skylar. She is pretty much the dopest.
Sleepin
Watching the Tour with the old man
Diaper and socks! Yeah baby!!
Naked Baby
Sucking on a finger
Hanging out with mom
Drying off after her second bath
Bath #2. i think she looks just like the Gerber baby (see below) in this photo. Jessi doesn't agree

There you have it. We have just been hanging out the past couple of weeks, changing diapers and getting puked on. We did find out a few things about her this past week that we did not know, her favorite album is Giant Steps by John Coltrane (she loves to dance to it with her old man), she loves bike racing and likes Contadors chances now that the Tour has entered the Alps, and most of all she loves to hang out with her mom and pretend to cry so she will pick her up. She also had her second checkup with the pediatrician this past week and gained just under a pound in eight days! Yeah buddy! She is our little pork chop. All is well and everyone is happy and healthy, thanks so much for all of the visits and phone calls the past couple of weeks. You are all tops in our book!

baby girl, part 2
I can say, now, that there is nothing more instantaneously rewarding, terrifying, and amazing than having a child. The responsibility is great, but the reward greater. I'm only 26 and had a complication free pregnancy and decent delivery. I don't have much experience yet, but understand by the minute the extreme and intense pull to do everything in my capacity to make this little girl as happy and comfortable as possible. I want everything for her.
My parents have been wanting the same thing. For more than three years they have been trying to adopt and add the final piece to our family. It has been the most emotionally exhausting process for them, filled with much disappointment, heartbreak, and now, finally, success.

thank you, mastercard
coming home outfits: $100.00
c-section: $7,500.00
crane to hoist me into the car after c-section: $500.00
becoming a family of 3: priceless
the labor long, the pushing...eventful, but not enough to get this kid out. so, c-section it was. not the funnest thing i've ever done, but well worth it in the end.
xoxo
