no, this isn't matt writing about college basketball. this is jessi catching up what's been going on in our lives.
first thing's first. we started off the month with matt's 28th birthday. he got an iphone--something he's been wanting since they came out, but that i wouldn't endorse because of the cost of the phone and the cell phone bill. he's worked so hard with school and work and other training things that i figured what the hell. so what if i have to sell my body and soul to pay for it? it's an iphone. it's worth it.
we went to dinner with his parents on his b-day and then celebrated with a little cake and ice cream. a week or two later we did dinner and cake with my family, too. nothing like stretching the birfday fun out.
skylar and i spent the afternoon, or a 1.5 hours which felt like an afternoon, at jungle jim's. she had a blast.
we also checked out the new 'provo beach resort' with genet. now THAT was fun. no really. watching a six month pregnant fatso chase her daughter up a four story jungle jim with obstacles at every corner. so fun. and then torpedoing down the steepest, curviest slide known to man. even better. and worth every penny.
when we're not out and about, we kick it at home. old school. we took skylar over the our pool to swim...little did we know the water was going to be ice-freaking-cold. she shivered and her lips turned purple, but she loved every minute of it.
i went upstairs to get my phone (okay, and check my email) and came down this. skylar + desitin = disgusting disaster.
she's the cutest naked thing i've ever seen. except for the time i saw brad pitt and george clooney and shaq naked. kidding.
and i guess that about wraps up our month. matt's almost done with deer valley for the season and starts fire fighting april 30. i'm still chugging along cooking up some baby and counting down the days 'til she's here and i can stop waddling. and skylar's keeping it real. she's learning and talking so much my head spins. it happens too fast. love it while it lasts, i guess.
adios.
xoxo
