i can't exactly think of a time when droopy is used as a positive adjective (especially if you happen to be a man). droopy isn't even cool if you're 2--just ask skylar: while monkeying around on the couch yesterday, she went face first off the back of the couch and onto the floor. er, onto her face on the floor. the hard wood floor (okay, fake hard wood floor, but that's not the point). i heard the thud from upstairs and went racing down. matt scooped her up and handed her to me: sobbing, drooling, bloody mouthed, bloody nosed little girl. we got her cleaned up, calmed down, and were on our way. as a side note, she's also getting over a cold and started complaining about her ears...so i thought i'd call the doctor to see if i could get her and and just ask about the fall. it was about this time, about three hours post-crash, that i also noticed her left eye was super droopy. a nice bruise had developed on her forehead and nose, but not her eye. i asked the nurse about this when i called and she said i should bring her in. so i did. and then, we had a phone consult with er at primary's. and then we rushed down to primary's to have a ct scan of my baby's head. you know, to rule out skull fracture, brain bleeds, and hematomas. just your run of the mill stuff. sigh. luckily everything looked okay and they just suspect a bruised nerve. i sure hope so cause the next step, if our doctor's still worried on monday, is an mri.

That is so sad and scary! Hope it turns out to be nothing serious. She sure looked like she had a grand old' time sledding in the pictures below :)
is she okay now jess??
That's no fun. Hope everything is ok.
Gosh, that's crazy. I am pretty sure I'm so not observant that I wouldn't catch that. Glad she's ok.
