matt NEVER has saturday's off--so when he wasn't schedule all weekend, we had to take advantage of it. we rented some skate skis from rei and went up to the mountain dell course. after we strapped skylar down, we headed out to do the loop. it was my first time...and last time?! it was hard, and i'm pretty sure i gave the entire course of spectators a gut ache from watching me lurp around the course like a total bafoon. of course matt picked it up in no time and was gliding away looking like a pro. oh well. one of us has to be uncoordinated. despite my circus act, we had a good time and even got a bit of a work out.

we need to get her some baby sunnies.
she was tearing up the whole time.
when we returned our skis to rei, we scored this:
a bike trailer/cross country ski trailer/jogging stroller
it was marked down to a fraction of what it retails for, so
we couldn't pass it by. thank you tax return.

So jealous of that trailer! Chris and I are on the hunt for one. If Matt sees anymore good deals, let me know! I'm a craigslist stalker, and never win!!
jen and mike both have chariots and love them. the go cross country skiing alot with their kiddos. It is on my wish list. Looks like you had a fun day!
