i neglect to post because apparently i don't take pictures any more. but that doesn't mean we haven't been busy. we spruced up our backyard with some stamped concrete (i know the BEST guy for the job if you're interested), celebrated matt's parents 40th anniversary, have been costco shopping to stock up for post-baby time, cleaning, going to zoo, the park, trying to teach skylar how to pedal her tricycle, etc.
and now things are starting to slow down. sort of. matt's been gone (first field work then straight off to a fire call in new mexico/arizona) for a week so i'm running low on steam. and i've started retaining water. yuck. needless to say we're just hanging around the house and crashing my parents house every so often.
we still have a nameless baby...which is annoying. maybe matt won't get home from the fire in time and i'll get to name her all by myself. which, ironically enough, would be hard to do because even i don't have a name that 100% sold on. time will tell.

Yay for water retention!!! Skylar is such a snuggle bug in the picture. Cuteness. Hope you're doing okay!!!
Jessi, the fires in AZ are RIGHT by my hometown (where we are living now). Is he fighting the Wallow fire? That's the one. AZ and NM are both up in flames though so he could be anywhere, I guess. :)
