we had our annual halloween party at my parents place in charleston. normally we have a theme or rely on the immense creativity of our friends, and this year we learned the importance of that...as half of us didn't dress up. regardless, it was so great to spend time with those we don't see often enough.

we also had our annual olsen family halloween party. it's so fun to see all our nieces and nephews in their get-up. and a shout out to all the big people who dressed up too. though i'm not going to lie, clays dyed brows and stache won, hands down. a gold star for you, uncle clay (slap it high)!
the bad ass costume was really amplified by the fact that i was still in my church clothes...

We all look way too normal in that picture... except for the Koehlers. Notice Ashley's single mechano-lazer eyeball and the fact that Chris managed to move his eyes to within half an inch of each other. Astounding.

Sad we missed it! Looks like a good time. I LOVE, LOVE the Lobster costume..cutest I have ever seen! Matt I always thought you were more of the pansy type. Just kidding.. couldn't help it.
